Alice is a senior HR Professional, with a Masters in HRM. Prior to establishing Peony & Magnolia, HR Consultancy in 2019, Alice was an Executive Member of Aspin Group, a leading UK engineering and construction firm.
Alice began her career working as an EA for a global pharmaceutical company, Galderma supporting the Sales Director and later at Sony Ericsson, supporting VP of Global Marketing. These roles exposed Alice to strategic thinking and strong leadership which are qualities Alice took into her own HR career.
Alice is highly organised, and solution driven, skills which shone, whilst delivering significant HR change programmes at a large UK County Council and Arla UK.
Since founding her own HR Consultancy, Alice has worked alongside companies such as Corona Energy as Head of HR and established People functions for tech scale up’s, Offr and Gobsmack. Peony & Magnolia support 20+ SME’s and Scale up’s ranging across construction, hospitality, travel, and property markets.
Alice feels fortunate to be aligned with Up Rising as an Associate. Professionally and personally, there is a synergy with the values and vision Natalie and Phanella hold to educating leaders, in understanding the importance of balance between performance and wellbeing.
In 2020, Alice launched Espresso, a HR magazine aimed at leaders and business owners. This collaboration project pulls together specialists to discuss vital HR subjects.
Alice is passionate about ensuring fairness in the workplace. She volunteers her time supporting inspiring girls’ projects and domestic abuse charities.
